Class 5B Student Interviews Padma Vibhushan Awardee Dr. D. R. Mehta
A proud moment for Aurobindo International School unfolded today as Jhanvi Shekhawat of Class 5B had the remarkable opportunity to interview the renowned philanthropist and Padma Vibhushan awardee, Dr. D. R. Mehta.
Dr. Mehta, the founder of the world-famous Jaipur Foot Organisation (BMVSS), warmly interacted with Jhanvi and appreciated her confidence and curiosity. During the interview, he spoke about his inspiring journey of service to humanity, the creation of affordable prosthetic limbs, and his vision of ensuring mobility and dignity for all.
Jhanvi asked thoughtful questions about his motivation, achievements, and message for young students. Dr. Mehta encouraged children to be kind, helpful, and dedicated towards society. He emphasized that even small acts of compassion can create big changes in the world.
The school’s Executive Director Mr Aditya Raj Prashar, Principal Ms Karuna Nagpal and Vice Principal Mrs Ritu Sharma motivated Jhanvi’s initiative and confidence, celebrating this extraordinary learning experience that will inspire many more young minds to dream big and contribute to society.
