Aurobindo International School celebrated the vibrant festival of Lohri with great enthusiasm on 13 January 2026. The campus was filled with festive spirit as students and teachers came together to mark the harvest festival with joy and cultural pride.
The celebration featured lively Punjabi dance performances, energetic music, and traditional songs that created a cheerful atmosphere. Students participated wholeheartedly, showcasing their talent and enjoying the rhythmic beats that are an integral part of Lohri festivities.
The significance of Lohri was explained to the students, highlighting its cultural importance, gratitude towards nature, and the spirit of togetherness. The celebration concluded with the distribution of traditional Lohri prasad by the school’s Executive Director Mr Aditya Raj Prashar, Principal Ms Karuna Nagpal and Vice Principal Mrs Ritu Sharma which added a touch of authenticity and warmth to the event.
