AUROBINDO INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Organises Career Counselling Session

Aurobindo International School in Jaipur organised a career counselling session on February 10, 2025, aimed at guiding students in making decisions about their future educational and professional paths. The session initiative was taken by the HOD of all the three streams of Science, Commerce and Humanities, who provided insights into various career options, emerging fields, and the skills required excelling in them. Students had the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions, ask questions, and receive personalised advice tailored to their interests and strengths.
The event underscored the school’s commitment to support students in navigating their post-secondary choices and achieving their career aspirations. Both the parents and students attended the session to gain knowledge and direction for their choice of stream in Grade XI.
The session concluded with the words of wisdom and blessings by the school Director, Dr. Bharat Prashar, Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal and Vice Principal Mrs Ritu Sharma to the board students for their upcoming exams.

Aurobindo International School Hosts Workshop

Aurobindo International School in Jaipur recently organised a workshop on 8th February, 2025 for the teachers focusing on Active Learning methodologies in alignment with CBSE guidelines. The workshop aimed to enhance teachers’ skills in implementing student-centered teaching strategies that promote engagement and critical thinking. The resource person Ms Sarika Gaur , Principal Subodh Public School, Rambagh and Ms. Neelam Sharma from Subodh Public School, Airport Road addressed the session. Both the resource persons were extremely happy to have a session with the teachers of Aurobindo International School.
The workshop covered various strategies to implement active learning, including collaborative activities, problem-solving tasks, and the integration of technology to facilitate productive and dynamic instructions.
Teachers actively took part in hands-on exercises, group discussions, and role-playing scenarios to experience the benefits of active learning first-hand.
The session concluded with the vote of thanks from the school Principal, Ms Karuna Nagpal wherein, she highlighted the importance and relevance of active learning in achieving teaching-learning goals .

Aurobindo International School Hosts Vibrant Winter Carnival

Aurobindo International School organised a delightful Winter Carnival on 19th January, 2025, which turned out to be a grand celebration of fun, creativity, and community spirit. The event witnessed an overwhelming turnout of students, parents, and teachers who came together to enjoy the festive extravaganza. The carnival featured an array of attractions, including food stalls, game booths, and live performances. Students showcased their talents through cultural programs, including music and dance performances that left the audience enthralled. The highlight of the event was a talent show, where students demonstrated their skills in art, craft, and science through an exhibition. Interactive games and rides kept the younger crowd entertained, while the food stalls served a variety of cuisines, satisfying everyone’s taste buds. Parents also actively participated in games and competitions, adding to the joyful ambiance of the event. Sports Day Celebration at Aurobindo International School

Aurobindo International School celebrated its annual Sports Day for Foundation Classes on 11th January, 2025 with great enthusiasm and energy. The event was organised in the school ground and it brought together students, teachers, and parents for a day which was full of excitement, competition, and teamwork. The event began with a grand opening ceremony, where the school Principal welcomed everyone and emphasised the importance of sports in building character, discipline, and teamwork. This was followed by a vibrant march-past led by the young kids showcasing the students’ coordination and spirit. The day featured a variety of events, including races like banana race, healthy food race etc, and fun games for pre-primary students. The highlight of the event was the rabbit race and monkey race. Parents also participated enthusiastically in activities like tug of war, adding to the festive atmosphere. Teachers also joined in the fun with their own friendly matches, demonstrating the school’s emphasis on the spirit of school’s inclusivity and fraternity.
The Sports Day concluded with a vote of thanks by the school’s Honourable Directors, Dr Bharat Prashar and Ms Shalini Prashar, Principal Ms Karuna Nagpal and Vice Principal Mrs Ritu Sharma expressing their gratitude and lauded the efforts of students and teachers in making the event a grand success.

9 Years Old Para-Shooter Saurabhi From Aurobindo International School

Mhow: Nine-year-old Saurabhi Sharma, a class IV student of Aurobindo International School, Jaipur is the youngest participant in the 3rd Paralympics Shooting Competition underway at Army Marksmanship Unit, Mhow. Her other competitors are too senior to her in terms of age and experience. However, she continues to overcome her special ability with confidence and will power on the sidelines of inaugural ceremony, Saurabhi talked to Free Press about her shooting career, studies, family and her hobbies. She started 10-metre air rifle shooting two years back. She won gold medal in 2nd zonal shooting championship last year. With Dr Deepa Malik as her role model, she said that when she read and saw her achievements in the life despite disabilities and challenges, nothing could stop her from attaining greater heights. About the competition at Mhow, she said that she was hopeful of winning a medal this time also. She had won a Gold Medal in her category in a previous event.

Competitions At Aurobindo International School

Aurobindo International School celebrated the vibrant spirit of Diwali with an engaging Diya Making(I-IV) , Bandarwal and Subh Labh hangings(V-VIII) and Rangoli(IX and XI)  Competitions on 26th October, 2024 in the school premises. Students from various grades and houses showcased their creativity and artistic talents in a festive atmosphere filled with joy and excitement.

The event began with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of Diwali, emphasizing themes of light, hope, and community. Students worked diligently, their tables adorned with colorful paints, glitter, and traditional motifs. The competition not only encouraged artistic expression but also fostered teamwork, as many students collaborated to bring their visions to life.

 The honourable school Director Ma’am Mrs. Shalini Prashar ,Principal Ms Karuna Nagpal and Vice-Principal Mrs Ritu Sharma expressed pride in the students’ efforts, stating, “These activities not only celebrate our traditions but also help our students develop essential skills in creativity and teamwork.”

Aurobindo International School Celebrates Dusshera: Embracing the Victory of Good Over Evil!
Aurobindo International School celebrated Dusshera on 9th October, 2024 with great enthusiasm and vibrant festivities. The celebration began with a special assembly, highlighting the significance of the festival. Traditional dances and songs added to the festive spirit, students enjoyed dandiya and garba. Students showcased their talents through a captivating dance performances, featuring colorful costumes and dynamic performances. A large effigy of Ravana, beautifully crafted by students, was displayed on the school grounds. The atmosphere was electric with excitement as students, and teachers gathered to witness the burning of the effigy. Fireworks lit up the sky, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.
The celebration concluded with a message of harmony and the importance of values, leaving everyone inspired and uplifted by the school’s honourable Director Dr. Bharat Parashar, Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal and Vice-Principal Mrs. Ritu Sharma.

Water Conservation Day

Nature has gifted us some precious and valuable resources and the, “Wonder liquid-water” is one of them which is our basic need.
We can’t imagine life without water.
The need of the hour is that every individual uses water economically and judiciously.
Keeping this in mind, students from grade Play Group – II of Aurobindo International School celebrated ”Water Conservation Day” on October 5, 2024.
The little water saviours of the school expressed their concerns and measures regarding water conservation through ramp walk wearing the dresses which showcase water conservation, posters carrying meaningful slogans and write-ups, models etc.
This learning activity was quite fruitful and another step towards creating responsible citizens of tomorrow. Students took a pledge to conserve water and never waste it.
The program concluded with the speech of honorable school director Dr. Bharat Parashar, Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal, Vice Principal Mrs. Ritu Sharma.
