Aurobindo International School came alive with creativity and imagination as it hosted an engaging storytelling competition, “ Imagination Station” on Friday, April 19, 2025. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across Grades VI-IX, who showcased their storytelling skills with captivating narratives, expressive delivery, and powerful stage presence.

The competition aimed to encourage the art of storytelling, enhance public speaking skills, and boost confidence among young learners. Stories ranged from folk tales and fables to original compositions, leaving the audience and judges impressed with the students’ creativity and expression.

The School’s Executive Director Mr. Aditya Raj Prashar, Principal  Ms Karuna Nagpal and Vice Principal Mrs Ritu Sharma appreciated the participants for their efforts and highlighted the importance of storytelling as a vital tool for learning and communication.

Winners were awarded certificates and prizes in a special ceremony at the end of the event.

The storytelling competition was a resounding success, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic education and nurturing young talents.

Aurobindo International School, Sirsi Road, Jaipur, celebrated Red Day with great enthusiasm and vibrant energy on April 21, 2025. The event was specially organized for the Pre-Primary section, aiming to introduce children to the colour red through a fun and engaging learning experience.

It was truly a day filled with colour, laughter, and joyful memories.

Little learners came dressed in bright red outfits, bringing the campus alive with shades of love, warmth, and energy. Classrooms were beautifully decorated with red balloons, flowers, and artwork, creating a festive and cheerful environment.

The day was packed with exciting activities such as storytelling, colouring, craft-making, and object identification – all centered around the colour red. A highlight of the celebration was the refreshing treat of juicy watermelon slices given to the students, adding a tasty twist to the day. As a special takeaway, each child received a cute watermelon cap, making the event even more memorable.

Teachers emphasized the importance of colours in daily life and encouraged children to express themselves creatively. The celebration not only made learning enjoyable but also helped enhance the cognitive and motor skills of young students. The event began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by Executive Director Mr. Aditya Raj Parashar, Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal, and Vice Principal Mrs. Ritu Sharma. The young graduates marked the occasion with colourful cultural performances, making the event both memorable and delightful. Parents, witnessing their children step into a new academic phase, were filled with pride and joy.
A highlight of the ceremony was the UKG students donning graduation gowns and caps, receiving their certificates, symbolizing their successful completion of the kindergarten stage. The atmosphere was filled with pride and celebration for students, parents, and teachers alike.

On March 18, 2025, Aurobindo International School, Sirsi Road, organized a workshop on ‘Educating Parents about Education’ to foster awareness among educators regarding educational resources.
The event commenced with a Saraswati Poojan and lamp lighting ceremony, led by our Executive Director Mr. Aditya Raj Prashar, Co-Director Mrs. Shalini Prashar, Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal, and Vice Principal Mrs. Ritu Sharma.
The workshop featured CBSE Resource Persons, Mr. Gaurav Patni (TGT, The Palace School) and Mrs. Cherry Goyal (PGT, MGD School), who addressed the teachers, emphasizing the critical role of parents in shaping their children’s education.
During her address, she highlighted the importance of parental involvement, stating, “Providing children with the right guidance is essential for their academic success, and parents must be well-informed about available educational resources.”
Echoing this sentiment, the resource person emphasized the need to leverage modern teaching tools, remarking, “With the vast array of educational resources available today, we must integrate them effectively to enhance children’s learning experiences.”

AUROBINDO INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Organises Career Counselling Session

Aurobindo International School in Jaipur organised a career counselling session on February 10, 2025, aimed at guiding students in making decisions about their future educational and professional paths. The session initiative was taken by the HOD of all the three streams of Science, Commerce and Humanities, who provided insights into various career options, emerging fields, and the skills required excelling in them. Students had the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions, ask questions, and receive personalised advice tailored to their interests and strengths.
The event underscored the school’s commitment to support students in navigating their post-secondary choices and achieving their career aspirations. Both the parents and students attended the session to gain knowledge and direction for their choice of stream in Grade XI.
The session concluded with the words of wisdom and blessings by the school Director, Dr. Bharat Prashar, Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal and Vice Principal Mrs Ritu Sharma to the board students for their upcoming exams.

Aurobindo International School Hosts Workshop

Aurobindo International School in Jaipur recently organised a workshop on 8th February, 2025 for the teachers focusing on Active Learning methodologies in alignment with CBSE guidelines. The workshop aimed to enhance teachers’ skills in implementing student-centered teaching strategies that promote engagement and critical thinking. The resource person Ms Sarika Gaur , Principal Subodh Public School, Rambagh and Ms. Neelam Sharma from Subodh Public School, Airport Road addressed the session. Both the resource persons were extremely happy to have a session with the teachers of Aurobindo International School.
The workshop covered various strategies to implement active learning, including collaborative activities, problem-solving tasks, and the integration of technology to facilitate productive and dynamic instructions.
Teachers actively took part in hands-on exercises, group discussions, and role-playing scenarios to experience the benefits of active learning first-hand.
The session concluded with the vote of thanks from the school Principal, Ms Karuna Nagpal wherein, she highlighted the importance and relevance of active learning in achieving teaching-learning goals .

9 Years Old Para-Shooter Saurabhi From Aurobindo International School

Mhow: Nine-year-old Saurabhi Sharma, a class IV student of Aurobindo International School, Jaipur is the youngest participant in the 3rd Paralympics Shooting Competition underway at Army Marksmanship Unit, Mhow. Her other competitors are too senior to her in terms of age and experience. However, she continues to overcome her special ability with confidence and will power on the sidelines of inaugural ceremony, Saurabhi talked to Free Press about her shooting career, studies, family and her hobbies. She started 10-metre air rifle shooting two years back. She won gold medal in 2nd zonal shooting championship last year. With Dr Deepa Malik as her role model, she said that when she read and saw her achievements in the life despite disabilities and challenges, nothing could stop her from attaining greater heights. About the competition at Mhow, she said that she was hopeful of winning a medal this time also. She had won a Gold Medal in her category in a previous event.
